Frank & Teressa's Anchor Bar was established in 1935. It is home to the original Buffalo chicken wings. It is still operated by the same family, started by Frank & Teressa Bellissimo. Teressa created the secret recipe Buffalo chicken wing sauce in 1964. The restaurant is located at 1047 Main Street in Buffalo, New York.

La Nova Pizzaria boasts of selling $100,000 of pizza per week. They also serve Buffalo chicken wings, subs and calzones. In 1957, Joe Todaro started the business out of an old gas station. Still operated by the same family, it is located at 371 West Ferry Street in Buffalo, New York.


Bada Bing Bar & Grill is the place to go for your night life, karaoke and private parties. It is located at 115 West Chippewa Street in Buffalo, New York.


Papaya Fine Asian Cuisine & Bar offers fine dining in a casual atmosphere, including a bar & lounge. For dinner, we ate the Shrimp with Fiery Thai Udon Noodles and the Chicken Pad Thai. It is located at 118 West Chippewa Street in Buffalo, New York. (sorry no pictures of dinner)

Old Man River Seafood Shack serves fresh seafood and alcohol. Next door is the Old Man River Restaurant, which is well-known for its grilled carrots called "Bunny dogs," white hot dogs (bratwurst), hamburgers, sweet potato french fries, and hand-dipped ice cream. It is owned by Frank Berrafato, who also owns the Mississipi Mudd restaurant down the street. It has a great view of the Niagara River, across the street from Niawanda Park, and is located at 375 Niagara Street in Tonawanda, New York.

Old Man River Market-on-Main has souvenir gifts of sauces and jellies. The restaurant cooks with the Humphrey hardwood charcoal.

Port City Cafe & Bakery has old-time charm nestled in the heart of downtown. They offer sandwiches, wraps, panini, soups and sandwiches. They are located at 209 West First Street in Oswego, New York.



Snug Harbor Marina is a quaint little restaurant & bar, with a view of Chaumont Bay. It is located on County Road 6, south of Cape Vincent, New York.

Captain Jack's Restaurant & Bar offers seafood, steak and chicken, with a view of the St. Lawrence River located at 361 Club Street in Cape Vincent, New York.

Ann's Fisherman's Fare is a small two room diner, offering breakfast and lunch only. It is owned by Laurie Cornelia, located at 141 East Broadway in Cape Vincent, New York.

The Thousand Islands Inn, built in 1897, is home to the original Thousand Island Salad Dressing, created by Sophia LaLonde. The Inn offers fine dining in a cozy atmosphere with a view of the St. Lawrence River. The inn is named for the 1000 Islands region, which in it resides. The owners of the inn are Susan & Allen Benas. It is located at 335 Riverside Drive in Clayton, New York.
